Nicotine Free Vapes — Lab Tested, Zero Addiction

No vaping product is entirely without risk, but nicotine-free vapes are significantly safer than their nicotine-containing counterparts because they eliminate the addictive substance responsible for dependence. Cyclone Pods products are independently tested by Legend Technical Services, Inc., an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in St. Paul, Minnesota, using LC-MS/MS methodology. Under Work Order #2503988, 13 of 16 products returned non-detect results for nicotine at a detection limit of 0.063 µg/g. All Cyclone Pods vapes are made with only USP-grade vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, and food-grade flavorings. They contain no diacetyl, no vitamin E acetate, and no tobacco-derived ingredients. While inhaling any aerosolized substance carries some respiratory risk compared to breathing clean air, choosing a nicotine-free product with verified lab testing and disclosed ingredients represents a substantially lower-risk option. For more details, see our safest vape guide and lab testing results.

Cyclone Pods vapes contain only three categories of ingredients: USP-grade vegetable glycerin (VG), propylene glycol (PG), and food-grade flavorings. USP-grade designation means the VG and PG meet United States Pharmacopeia standards for purity and quality — the same grade used in food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic products. Notably absent from Cyclone Pods products are nicotine (0mg in all products), tobacco and tobacco-derived ingredients, diacetyl (a chemical linked to bronchiolitis obliterans), and vitamin E acetate (associated with EVALI lung injuries in 2019). These claims are verified through independent testing by Legend Technical Services, Inc., an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory that uses LC-MS/MS analytical methodology with detection limits down to 0.063 µg/g. The full lab report is available on the lab testing transparency page, including the specific work order number and individual product results.

Nicotine-free vapes work the same way as regular vapes — a battery heats a coil, which vaporizes the e-liquid so you can inhale it. The only difference is the e-liquid contains 0% nicotine. You still get the full vapor production, flavor, throat hit, and hand-to-mouth ritual, just without nicotine or its addictive effects.

The primary benefit of nicotine-free vapes is that they contain zero addictive substances, meaning users can enjoy the vaping experience without developing physical dependence or experiencing withdrawal symptoms. For people quitting nicotine, they provide a behavioral replacement that satisfies the hand-to-mouth habit while eliminating the chemical dependency. Financially, nicotine-free options like the Cyclone Pods Gust Pro deliver 20,000 puffs at $20 — compared to nicotine vapes that cost $15–$25 for 5,000–8,000 puffs, or cigarettes at $8–$15 per pack. Additional benefits include no exposure to tobacco-specific nitrosamines, no risk of increasing nicotine tolerance, and the freedom to vape socially without building an addiction. Cyclone Pods products are available both online at cyclonepods.com and in retail stores nationwide, making them accessible for anyone looking to enjoy vaping without nicotine.

While nicotine-free vapes are not FDA-approved smoking cessation devices, many adults use them as part of their personal transition away from nicotine. They allow you to keep the hand-to-mouth ritual and inhalation experience while eliminating nicotine intake. Some people step down from nicotine vapes to 0mg vapes before quitting altogether. Cyclone Pods products are designed for adults who want a satisfying vape experience without nicotine.

Cyclone Pods offers multiple products with different puff counts to suit various usage levels. The Gust Core tops the range at 50,000 puffs for $25 — assembled in the USA, with 3 power levels, an LCD display, and USB-C charging across 9 flavors. The Gust Pro delivers approximately 20,000 puffs per device at $20, with USB-C charging, a turbo mode, four ice settings, and a screen display across 14 flavors. The Lightning pod system delivers 10,000 puffs per pod at $14 per pod (starter kit $20), featuring a turbo button, LED screen, and 13 flavors with 7ml pod capacity.

Age requirements for nicotine-free vapes vary by state. While federal law requires buyers to be 21+ for nicotine and tobacco products, nicotine-free vapes exist in a different regulatory category since they contain no tobacco or nicotine. However, Cyclone Pods requires all customers to be 21+ as a responsible business practice, and many retailers enforce the same policy.

The only difference is the e-liquid: nicotine-free vapes use 0mg (0%) nicotine juice, while regular vapes contain varying levels of nicotine (typically 3mg-50mg). This means nicotine-free vapes carry no risk of nicotine addiction and avoid nicotine's effects on heart rate and blood pressure. The vapor production, flavor experience, and physical device are otherwise the same.

Cyclone Pods nicotine-free vapes start at $14 for individual pods. Lightning pods are $14 each, Gust Pro disposable vapes are $20, the Gust Core (50,000 puffs, assembled in the USA) is $25, and Lightning starter kits (battery + pod) are $20. We also offer multi-packs starting at $62.10 for Lightning variety packs and $90 for Gust Pro packs. Compared to cigarettes averaging $8-$13 per pack per day, nicotine-free vaping is significantly more affordable over time.
