What Makes a Disposable Vape Nicotine-Free?
A nicotine-free disposable is filled with 0mg e-liquid: VG, PG and flavoring, with no nicotine added. That is the whole definition. A zero-nicotine disposable should taste and draw like any other. It just leaves out the dependence.
A label is not a lab test, though. We post per-flavor Gust Pro and Lightning results from an ISO 17025 lab so you can check the claim yourself. Start with our lab testing transparency page.

Why Rechargeable Disposables Last Longer
Old single-use vapes die when the battery does. Often there is liquid left in the tank. You throw away puffs you paid for.
USB-C recharging flips that. The liquid, not the battery, sets the lifespan. You top up the charge and keep going until the tank is empty. That is how a device reaches its full rated puff count.
It also means fewer devices bought per year. Less to buy, less to throw out. For other brands, see our best rechargeable disposable vapes roundup.
FAQs
Yes. A 0 nicotine disposable uses e-liquid made without nicotine. Ours are the Gust Core, rated 50,000 puffs ($25), and Gust Pro (20,000 puffs, $20), both rechargeable over USB-C. Several big brands also sell 0% versions of nicotine models, so check which version you're buying.
Not always — a label isn't a lab test. Ours are made without added nicotine. In Legend Technical Services' Dec 2025 test (ISO 17025, LC-MS/MS, Work Order #2503988), 13 of 16 Gust Pro and Lightning flavors had no detectable nicotine; Gust Pro Lush Ice (0.85 µg/g) and Lightning Bold Tobacco (24) and Tobacco (26) showed trace amounts. See our lab results.
A disposable vape is an all-in-one device — battery, e-liquid, and coil sealed in one unit, ready to use straight out of the box. There's nothing to refill or assemble. Ours are the rated 50,000-puff Gust Core (the longest we make) and the Gust Pro (rated for 20,000 puffs). Both are USB-C rechargeable so you use every drop of e-liquid, with a screen showing battery and liquid levels. When it's empty, you replace the whole device.
It depends on capacity and how often you vape. The Gust Core disposable is rated for 50,000 puffs, the longest we make; the Gust Pro for 20,000. Ratings assume short, low-power draws, so long draws and higher power settings give fewer puffs. Both recharge over USB-C, letting you vape until the tank is empty. The built-in screen shows how much e-liquid and battery is left, so there's no guesswork about when to grab a new one.
Ours, yes. The Gust Core and Gust Pro both have a USB-C port so you can recharge the battery and keep vaping until the e-liquid actually runs out. Older single-use disposables often die with liquid still inside because the battery gives out first — a rechargeable disposable avoids that waste and gets you the full puff count you paid for.
No. Recharging restores the battery, not the e-liquid. The Gust Core rechargeable disposable (18ml) and Gust Pro (15ml flavor + 6ml ice) are sealed: when the screen's liquid gauge reads empty, you replace the device. If you'd rather keep one device and change flavors, the Lightning takes 7ml pods that snap on magnetically; the pods aren't refillable either.
Pick a disposable like the Gust Core or Gust Pro if you want zero maintenance — no pods to buy, no parts to manage, just use and replace. Pick a pod system like the Lightning if you want less waste over time — you keep one reusable battery and swap $14 pods, each rated for 10,000 puffs. All three are USB-C rechargeable and nicotine-free. Our buying guide compares all three side by side.
Don't put it in household trash — disposables contain a lithium-ion battery that shouldn't go to landfill. Take used devices to an e-waste or battery recycling drop-off. If cutting waste matters to you, a reusable Lightning pod system replaces only the pod each time and keeps the electronics, generating far less waste per puff than single-use devices.
