Buy the Gust Core if you want the longest run from one device: it is rated for 50,000 puffs from 18ml of e-liquid, has 3 power levels and an LCD, costs $25, and is assembled in the USA. Buy the Gust Pro if you want control over cooling and more flavors: 4 ice settings, turbo mode and 14 flavors from a 15ml flavor tank plus a 6ml ice tank, for $20. Both are nicotine-free disposables that recharge over USB-C. The harder call is which number to trust, puffs or milliliters, and that comes down to how you vape.

Does the Gust Core Last Longer Than the Gust Pro?

On its rating, yes: 50,000 puffs against 20,000, two and a half times as many. On liquid, no. The Gust Pro carries 21ml in total to the Gust Core's 18ml, though 6ml of the Gust Pro's liquid sits in its separate ice tank rather than the flavor tank.

Put those two specs side by side and the ratings stop tracking the liquid. The Gust Core is rated at roughly 2,800 puffs per ml of liquid; the Gust Pro at roughly 950. Treat a rating as a ceiling. Both devices let you spend liquid faster: higher Gust Core power levels pull more e-liquid per puff, and Gust Pro turbo mode does the same. If you take long pulls or vape on a high setting, the liquid you actually have matters more than the number on the box. We run the day-by-day numbers for every puff tier in how long vapes really last.

The useful part: both screens show how much liquid is left, so you can watch the real gauge instead of guessing at a puff count. Our roundup of disposable vapes with a screen covers other devices that do this.

What Does Each Cost per Puff and per ml?

Per 1,000 rated puffs, the Gust Core works out to $0.50 and the Gust Pro to $1.00. Per ml of liquid the order flips: $1.39 for the Gust Core, $0.95 for the Gust Pro. Neither figure is the "real" one. If your draws are short and your setting is low, the per-puff row is the closer guide. If you vape hard, read the per-ml row, because liquid is what runs out. At checkout, the Gust Pro is $5 less.

Is the Gust Core Worth $5 More?

For daily vapers who take short draws, we think yes. You pay 25% more at list price for a rating that is 150% higher, and you replace the device less often. The catch is draw style. Gust Core liquid costs $1.39 per ml against $0.95 for the Gust Pro, so someone who drains tanks with long, high-power pulls gets less out of the rating and pays more for every ml.

The extra $5 also covers two things a cost table can't price: US assembly and a tobacco flavor. It doesn't get you ice control or turbo mode. If those are the reason you like the way you vape now, the Gust Pro is the better device for you whatever the per-puff math says.

Can You Adjust the Cooling on the Gust Core?

No. The Gust Core's one adjustment is its 3 power levels, which change vapor and throat hit. Cooling control belongs to the Gust Pro: a 6ml ice tank sits beside the 15ml flavor tank, and 4 ice settings let you set how cold each puff hits. Its turbo mode gives a stronger hit and uses more e-liquid per draw.

On the Gust Core, the cooling comes with the flavor. Iced recipes like Blue Razz Ice and White Gummy Ice carry their chill in the e-liquid, and you get whatever cooling the recipe has.

Which Has More Flavors?

The Gust Pro, 14 to 9. The overlap is small:

  • Gust Core only: Bold Tobacco, Cherry Fizz, Clear, Dragonfruit Lemonade, Strawberry Banana, Strawberry Kiwi, White Gummy Ice.
  • Gust Pro only: Cherry Blast, Kiwi Passionfruit, Lush Ice, Lychee Aloe, Mango Peach Fusion, Menthol, Miami Mint, Pink Lemonade, Piña Colada, Sour Green Apple, Summer Grape, Watermelon Raspberry.
  • On both: Mint, and Blue Razz in two versions (BlueRazz on the Gust Pro, Blue Razz Ice on the Gust Core).

The split matters most for tobacco flavor. Bold Tobacco is a Gust Core flavor, and the Gust Pro has no tobacco option. Mint and menthol fans get more range on the Gust Pro, which has Mint, Menthol and Miami Mint. Browse all 9 Gust Core flavors or all 14 Gust Pro flavors.

Are Both Nicotine-Free?

Yes. Both devices are made with no added nicotine and no tobacco, from USP-grade VG, PG and food-grade flavorings, and both are made without diacetyl or vitamin E acetate.

For the Gust Pro we also publish per-flavor nicotine results. In Legend Technical Services' December 2025 analysis (LC-MS/MS, Work Order #2503988), BlueRazz, Mint, Menthol, Watermelon Raspberry and Mango Peach Fusion had no detectable nicotine, and Lush Ice showed a trace of 0.85 µg/g. The other eight Gust Pro flavors weren't in that nicotine work order. A second Legend panel in July 2026 (Work Order #2602062) found no diacetyl, 2,3-pentanedione, arsenic, cadmium, lead or mercury in Gust Pro BlueRazz, Piña Colada and Lychee Aloe. The same panel did find trace formaldehyde, acetone and acrolein. Both reports are on our lab testing page.

Where Is the Gust Core Made?

The Gust Core is assembled in the USA: the device is put together and the e-liquid filled here, with hardware sourced overseas. That's why we say "assembled" and not "made." The Gust Pro is assembled overseas and carries no USA claim. Our page on vapes made in the USA explains the difference and shows where other brands' devices come from.

Which Should You Buy?

Start with how you vape, then check the flavor list.

  • Buy the Gust Core if you want the fewest replacements, a tobacco flavor, power levels instead of ice settings, or a device assembled in the USA.
  • Buy the Gust Pro if you want to set your own cooling, use turbo mode, choose from 14 flavors, or spend $20 instead of $25.
  • Buy neither if you'd rather keep one battery and swap flavors. Lightning takes 7ml pods in 13 flavors at $14 a pod.
