Nectr and Cyclone Focus Pouches both put 50 mg of caffeine in a nicotine-free pouch. The differences are in everything else: where the caffeine comes from, what the other actives are, how many tins you have to buy, and whether you can read a lab report first. Nectr is cheaper per pouch, and it's the only one of the two with a caffeine-free line. Cyclone lets you buy one tin, and it publishes its full Certificate of Analysis.
Nectr labels and prices checked on nectr.energy on Oct 27, 2026. We make Cyclone Focus Pouches, so every competitor figure below is one Nectr publishes.
Nectr vs Cyclone Focus: the short version
Pick Nectr Focus+ if you want L-theanine and Alpha-GPC with your caffeine, want the lowest price per pouch, and don't mind buying 5 tins at a time. Pick Nectr Zero if you want no caffeine at all.
Pick Cyclone Focus Pouches if you want caffeine from guarana with an adaptogen and mushroom blend, want to try a single tin first, or want to read the lab report before you buy.

Nectr per-pouch prices assume each pack holds 20-pouch tins, which is what Nectr says a tin contains. Nectr subscriptions take 35% off the first order and 25% off after that.
Caffeine: same dose, different source
Both brands label 50 mg per pouch, about half a cup of brewed coffee. Nectr uses pharmaceutical-grade caffeine, and ours comes from guarana. How much you feel depends more on dose and timing than on source. Count either one toward the FDA's 400 mg a day guideline for healthy adults. Our guide to caffeine pouch safety covers how to space doses.
We also publish what the lab measured. Certified Laboratories tested lot 202605 by HPLC and found 39–48 mg of caffeine per pouch, depending on flavor, against the 50 mg label. Nectr doesn't post a measured caffeine figure.
What else is in the pouch
This is the real difference. Nectr Focus+ is built around amino acids and choline: L-theanine, Alpha-GPC, L-tyrosine and huperzine A, plus B6 and B12, for 320 mg+ of actives per pouch. Nectr prints each dose on the product page.
Cyclone Focus Pouches carry 400 mg of total actives per pouch: caffeine from guarana, phosphatidylserine, and adaptogen and mushroom extracts (ashwagandha, reishi, lion's mane, cordyceps and bacopa). What's in Cyclone Focus Pouches walks through each ingredient. There's no L-theanine and no B12 in ours. If L-theanine is specifically what you want with your caffeine, Nectr Focus+ is the closer match.
Ashwagandha isn't for everyone. Check with a doctor if you're pregnant, nursing, on thyroid medication, or taking anything for blood pressure or blood sugar. Both products are sold as dietary supplements, and neither brand's statements have been evaluated by the FDA.
If you want no caffeine
Nectr Zero has no caffeine and no actives, just flavor. We don't make a caffeine-free pouch. If you want something for the evening, Zero is the better pick.
Price and how you buy
Nectr is cheaper per pouch if you're ready to commit. It costs about $0.40 a pouch one-time, and less on subscription. You can't buy a single Nectr tin: the smallest packs are a 4-pack and a 5-pack.
A Cyclone tin is $9.99 for 20 pouches, or $0.50 each, and you can buy just one. If you know you'll keep using them, the Build Your Own 6-can bundle mixes any flavors for $56.94, about $0.47 a pouch, and subscribing takes another 10% off. Focus Pouch orders of $35 or more ship free in the US. Nectr ships free over $50.
Lab testing
Nectr says its pouches are third-party tested for purity and potency and made in the USA in a GMP-certified facility. We didn't find a certificate of analysis on its site.
Our Focus Pouches lab report is public. Certified Laboratories (Burbank, CA; A2LA ISO 17025 accredited, certificate 3034.01) tested lot 202605 in all four flavors. Each flavor had 68 pesticide results and 57 solvent results under their USP limits. Heavy metals were lead 0.02–0.04 ppm, arsenic 0.02 ppm and mercury 0.0002–0.001 ppm, with cadmium not detected. The COA marks the pesticide, caffeine, and Class I and III solvent results as outside the lab's A2LA accreditation, and we'd rather tell you that than leave it out.
